This is a reasonably priced, casual spot, perfect for groups with vegans, vegetarians, kids, allergy sufferers, really anyone who's interested in a great veggie meal.
I stopped in HANGRY with my parents after a long day and was thrilled with the menu. Even my dad was happy and he is a pretty committed carnivore. The server was quick, sweet, and attentive, even though we were between normal times and she probably had lots of dinner prep to do.
We enjoyed the spring rolls (not fried!) which were awesome. I hate fried food so I was thrilled to see two options for rice paper wraps. They were absolutely stuffed with lovely fresh greens, flavorful mint and basil, and rice noodles, along with some textured soy "meat." The peanut sauce was light and tasty.
My main was the spicy Hue noodle soup, which was delicious. Not too spicy, a little salty, but lots of awesome lemongrass flavor. It was awesomely heavy on the protein, not just tofu but also beef style TVP, lots of rice noodles, and big flavorful, hearty mushroom caps. If my mom wouldn't have snapped a pic, I might have licked the bowl.
My dad had the tofutti almond bark ice cream sundae. That's a bit of a stretch in the name, it was two scoops of tofutti with a little drizzle of chocolate sauce. I wouldn't call it a sunday, but he didn't realize it wasn't 'real' until he was already well stuck in, so we will take the win!
I am DEFINITELY eating here again on my next visit to TO. -

Lots of good reviews and I was in the neighbourhood
It's an Asian mix with western items.
Pad Thai, veggie burger, burritos even!
I had the roasted beet salad. $11 which means there were slices of roasted beets on top of a salad.
It was good and the price I think is decent.
I'm not veg at this moment so I can't say I'd be thrilled to eat a veg burger. Usually when I want vegetarian food, I want vegetables. I'd say that is the flaw. It's a 'regular' kind of restaurant which replaced meat with soy or other forms of protein. Most regular restaurants lack good veggie dishes
It would be worth going again if I was out with a veg person. -

For the starter, I had the crispy wontons with sweet chili sauce. It's filled with chestnut, carrots, and soy protein, but if I didn't know it could've been a regular crispy pork wonton-loved it. For the main, I had the Green Earth Rotisserie. The dish is a bit too salty for me, due to the sauce, otherwise it's perfect. The texture of the roasted soy chick'un is the best I've ever tried. The portion was big enough that I became full after eating 3/4ths. I ordered the vegan green tea cheesecake for takeout and loved the flavour and texture as well. I would love to come back to experience that soy chick'un again. Great vegan restaurant.

This is probably one of the toughest reviews for me to write. At first glance the place is very nice, clean, tidy, welcoming and comfortable. The staff who greeted and served us were amazing. The menu was far beyond my expectation with a huge range of vegan meal choices. They all look and sound delicious.
There is great potential in this establishment. However the real downside is that the food is really hit or miss. The things that were great were great and the items that were not were bad because they were not prepared properly. Generally things were either not cooked long enough or the item being prepared should not have been served. I unfortunately have to put the onus on the cook at this establishment as our appetizer dish some of the items were good and some were just down right bad. I do have to compliment the staff for trying to fix our order by either sending it back or replacing the item. They were all really really helpful and friendly.
Again I think this place has a lot of potential but until the consistency gets better I have a hard time rating it any higher than 3 stars. -

I really wanted to like this place because their menu had a whole bunch of awesome choices. However, everything fell short. Started of with nachos and it literally looked like everything was slapped together. Like they didn't even oven bake the tortilla chips. They had vegan cheese, a spoonful of guacamole, pico de Gallo and probably like three pieces of jalapeños. For mains Marshall had the fettuccine Alfredo and the sauce ratio to pasta was insane. They didn't even have a side of garlic/plain toast. I had the small pho because they were out of wontons (I wanted the wonton soup).
The service was barely existent. You are greeted and shown a table and that's about it. They don't follow up with you on whether you're enjoying your meal or need anything like salt and pepper or water refills.
There is a bar, but no alcoholic beverages.
There is parking on the street or a very close 2 minute walk, green p parking.
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not unfortunately. It's like they don't even care what's presented or prepared for you. They just slap it together which is totally unfortunate
